It's an exciting time to be a student at Bass High School. Our students use modern technologies like interactive whiteboards, laptops and iPads to access information beyond the classroom.

We also have:

• a commercial kitchen
• recently refurbished science labs
• a hairdressing salon
• two student learning centres
• a homework centre with regular senior study skills workshops
• an active Rugby League team.

Our school gym facility provides students with practical, hands-on physical education experiences, fostering skills in fitness, wellbeing, and athletic development while enhancing teamwork, discipline, and a deeper understanding of healthy lifestyles.

Our school podcast studio offers students practical, hands-on media production experience, allowing them to foster skills in communication, storytelling, audio editing and digital literacy.

Run by the students, the school cafe offers valuable work experience and skill development whilst also contributing back to the school community by providing coffee and breakfast back to students and staff.

Our school barbershop program offers students immersive, real-world learning in haircutting, styling, and grooming, helping them develop strong practical skills in customer service, hygiene practices, and professional barbering.
