Library

All Year 7 Bass High School students participate in the Premier's Reading Challenge so your child should always have suitable reading material in their possession.

If you have any questions about your child's involvement in the program, you can contact the program's coordinator.

Librarian: Mr Paul Davies

Homework centre

Homework centre runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3 to 4:30pm. Student who attend need to have returned a signed permission note from parent/guardian which includes an up-to-date parent contact information. This can be obtained in the library.

Senior learning centre

The senior learning centre, based on the top floor of the school library, is a place where a full time coordinator is available to negotiate contracts designed to meet the needs of individuals and/or groups.

Year 12 students who have no timetabled lessons during school time, are required to attend the senior learning centre to participate in a study program. Students have access to study materials, guest speakers and a full time coordinator that can assist them with such things as study timetables and general study skills.

Furthermore, Year 12 students have access to tuition and/or assistance from students from the University of Western Sydney during their timetabled study periods in the centre.

Senior students are also welcome to use the centre during recess or lunch for study and as a reference centre.
