Bass High ANZAC Services

Bass High School celebrated ANZAC Day by attending the Bass Hill RSL Dawn Service and holding a ceremony on the first day back at school, Tuesday 30th of April.

We had the priviledge to have in attendance a very special guest and friend of the school, Mr Dick Payten OAM, President of the 7th Division AIF who is 98 years of age.

Also in attendance were Ms Tania Mihailuk MP (State Member for Bankstown), Mr Ron Duckworth (President) and Mr Ian Kennedy from Bass Hill RSL sub-branch), Ms Christine Kingston and Mr Alan Rawlinson (Legacy), Mr Badih Habib (Vice President of the Bass High’s P&C) who have been great supporters of Bass High School.

Thank you to Mr David Horton (Principal), Mr Phil O’Brian (HSIE teacher and organiser) Jack and Iktimal (School Captains), Emili and Aya (Vice Captains) for organising and running the ceremony.
