Bass High School Principal, Martin Toaetolu

Hello, I'm Martin Toaetolu, and I have been a proud employee of the education department for nearly 30 years.

As the principal of Bass High School, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where student needs and learning are our central focus.

At Bass High, we have exceptional teachers and leaders who are committed to helping our students succeed. Our staff are university educated. They have extensive skills in design thinking, which they use to improve our school and classroom practices. We offer targeted learning support to match the varied needs of our students, who range across all academic abilities.

Our students are articulate and optimistic about their futures. They are actively involved in the community. They participate in various community events and generously support charity organisations. The multicultural makeup of our school fosters a culture of diversity and acceptance.

We are always looking to strengthen our ties with the local community. For example, our Student Representative Council (SRC) performs a street cleaning service twice a week before school. We also support local and national charities, including the RSL.

It is a great honour to work with and serve the Bass Hill community. Together, we are creating a bright future for our students.

Martin Toaetolu,

Principal, Bass High School
