Girls Technology and Finance Expo

On the 6th March, a group of year 9 and 10 girls attended a Girls Technology and Finance Expo held by Commonwealth Bank Australia in Darling Harbour. The expo was held to celebrate International Women's Day and involved an interactive workshop showcasing key IT products and innovations within technology and finance. It was a fantastic way to encourage more young women to participate in fields such as science, technology and maths - and break down gender myths as well as offer career insights! Bass High girls had a brilliant time and cant wait to attend again next year!
