- NSW has updated health advice that comes into effect for Greater Sydney (including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour) from Saturday 17 July. Retail premises are now closed. Residents of the Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and Liverpool Local Government Areas (LGA) cannot leave their LGA for work unless you are an excluded worker. If you do need to leave your LGA for work you are required to be tested for COVID every three days, even if you have no symptoms.
If your child's school is within Greater Sydney – including one of the LGAs listed - you must keep your child at home unless they need to be at school. Schools and Out Of School Hours Care services are open for any child that needs it.
