SBS News featured Bass High School's unique barbering program!

At Bass High School, we're proud to offer a unique opportunity for our students to become skilled barbers and hair stylists. Our innovative program, housed in a salon built behind a classroom, provides a great environment for students to learn and practice their skills. These skills can serve as a launchpad to a rewarding career.

Under the expert guidance of professionals, our 10-week barbering course equips students with the skills to cut and braid hair. As part of their training, they also provide free services to their peers. This program is particularly beneficial for those facing challenges and economic disadvantage.

Students from this program have pursued careers in salons and developed employment skills that can be used in various professions.
