TAS

The acronym TAS stands for Technology and Applied Studies. TAS represents an umbrella group of subjects where the design and application of technology is fundamental to discovering successful solutions that meet a need, opportunity or challenge. TAS at Bass High School is immersed in a mixture of technologies and multiliteracies located over a range of environments, from machine workshops to agricultural management to software-rich, iMac computer labs. Bass High School TAS learning areas always encourage imagination, creativity, innovation, critical thinking and responsible use of technology for practice in extending literacy and numeracy within the digital world around us.
