Starting high school is very exciting as your child adjusts to new school, friends and gets used to having different teachers for different subjects.
As year advisor it is my role to oversee the wellbeing of all year 7 students and be the first point of contact for parents and care givers.
I will be organising regular year meetings to keep students informed about Bass high school's positive behaviour towards learning and address issues regarding uniform, lateness, social behaviour and academic achievement.
I am available to individual students regarding studies, social or external factors that impact their education. Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding further information or any concerns you might have.
Some important dates for term 1
Excursion to power house museum, 26th March 2018
Excursion to Taronga Zoo, 11th April 2018
These excursions have been organised to promote team building skills.
The students will also attend a one hour session, ‘Police Talks', which is a wellbeing workshop that addresses social issues relating to the use of mobile phones and internet.
Date: 27th March 2018.
